8-Week Standup Comedy Course       

Has anyone ever told you you're funny? Have you always wanted to try standup comedy but it scared you?  Or, are you an actor, speaker, or Rabbi who just wants to be funnier?  Then, this class is for you.  In this 8-week course you'll create killer stand-up material in a fun, safe environment.  This class teaches you to find your passion, and write from your creativity, not your critic. Come to the first class with nothing and you’ll leave with an act!

You'll learn how to:

• Discover your own unique comedy style.

• Feel comfortable in small classes with personal attention.

• Find authentic topics based on the “now” in your life.

• Write cutting edge jokes.

• Get rid of hack, been-done-before material.

•  Learn how to rock a room of strangers.

• Get expert coaching and punch up from Hollywood’s top comedy coaches.

• Showcase at the world famous Hollywood Improv!!

• Get a DVD of your performance – You did it!

• 8-week course meeting once a week for three hours
• Showcase at the HOLLYWOOD IMPROV!
• Cost: $495 (if purchased on or before December 22, 2008)

• Cost includes DVD of your showcase AND a copy of Judy's book "The Comedy Bible"

Intermediate/Advanced Drop-in Workshop (with Showcase!)       

You've showcased at a hot comedy club, and ROCKED the house... so why stop now? Keep writing and performing! The difference between the comics who make it and the comics who go back to their day jobs is extra dedication..

We listened to your suggestions, and in an effort to maintain our dedication to you, have retooled our advanced workshops so they are flexible and affordable. The Intermediate/Advanced Package is not a special class, but it does have special privileges. You’ll skip classes one and two of the ongoing workshops, because you already have the formula down. .

Instead, you’ll:

• Before your class starts - Judy Carter or Cary Odes will work with you via email to find your next new topic!
• Participate in classes 3,4, 5 and 6, showcase, and attend the final class
• Create brand new kick ass material
• Receive a new *Deluxe* DVD of your new set at the Hollywood Improv

We’ve altered the workshops to ensure two important qualities for the participants:

Requirements:
You must have completed the Comedy Workshops Beginning Standup Workshop or you must submit material via email for review.

There are no refunds or rollovers. This deal is non-transferable.
